Bringing Christmas Trees to Historic Atlanta

Starting Trees for Tuition was a blend of excitement and nerves. I mean, who wouldn’t be jittery about starting their own business? Fast forward eight seasons, with the support of our community and some good old fashioned word-of-mouth, we’ve grown beyond our wildest dreams. With that growth, we are excited to be setting up shop between Grant Park and Cabbagetown, right at the Historic Atlanta Dairies. As of 2023 will be at 777 Memorial Drive SE with a pumpkin patch, starting in October, and another magical Christmas tree lot starting mid November! Come by, bring friends, say hi, and enjoy the Dairies with us!

Christmas Trees at the Atlanta Dairies

I recently went to visit my Grandfather outside of Atlanta and learned something I didn’t know about him prior. He was asking me about Trees for Tuition, how we were doing, and where we might go next. When I told him we would be setting up at the Atlanta Dairies this year his fate lit up. My Grandfather grew up in Cabbagetown Atlanta, went to an APS school and he actually worked at the Daireis before they shut down. What are the chances!? One of my Grandfather’s first jobs is now the site of one of Trees for Tuition’s first locations. We can’t wait to set up at this Atlanta establishment right between two such historic neighborhoods. Grant Park and Cabbagetown look out, we are coming with the spookiest pumpkins and best Christmas trees in Atlanta!

Now this might be our fourth Christmas tree lot but we are sure to give each location the same love, attention, and magic as the first. When you walk onto this south Atlanta Christmas tree lot you’ll be greeted with a warm smile and an eagerness to help you go home with your perfect Christmas tree. Our tree experts will guide you through the tree buying process, net your Christmas tree for easy transport and installation, give it a fresh cut so that it stays fresh all season, and of course load and secure your tree to your vehicle to make it home safe despite the Atlanta potholes! Pro tip: Bring your tree stand with you or buy one from us and we will install your Christmas tree stand for you free of charge!

The Eastern

Are you a music lover? If the answer is yes then you may have already frequented our newest location. Opening in 2021 the Eastern is one of Atlanta’s newest music venues. This venue can accommodate a whopping 2,200 people. And with six bars, including a rooftop one that offers a view of performances on a large video screen, it’s the place to be. So whether you’re catching an October performance of your favorite solo Artist or a November appearance of that one band you see every time they are in town don’t forget to come grab a carving pumpkin or find the best Christmas trees in Atlanta on your way out of the show!

When we started in 2015 we never thought we would ever have our own Christmas tree lot, let alone five! It is the Atlanta community that has helped us get here and we are committed to giving back to this same community every chance we get. When you shop at any Trees for Tuition you can rest assured your Christmas tree is more than just a tree. It’s helping local students afford college. It’s planting a forever tree in a forest in need. It’s supporting local PTO’s. It’s helping kids play soccer. It’s creating memories with friends and family. And that’s why it’s our slogan: It’s more than just a tree… It’s Trees for Tuition!
